This week I worked on following new accounts and interacting with my classmates through replies and retweets. I was able to learn about the personality of birds, as well as connect with classmates who also had pet birds as kids (I had a coop of chickens in my backyard). Another girl had indoor pet birds as a kid. I was also able to see funny memes and cute pictures curated by my peers. This was especially interesting to see this community building since we don’t have an in person class format.
Online I found some interesting articles to tweet about. The most interesting article I found was about SpaceX launches disrupting coastal bird habitats. As an engineering student working on space technology this was personally interesting to me as well. It made me think about how to consider the environment and habitat ruining effects of the things I might make in the future.
