Hello!
This week my work focused a lot on how people interact with birds, and I found some pretty interesting articles. A bird never seen in Minnesota was found in a park, a composer transcribed bird songs to find inspiration, and New Zealanders are banding together to save the kiwi after a long drive to eliminate them.
I checked out Annie's blog post on avian research articles she found, and was very interested by the one on the effects of wind turbines on birds and their habitats. In the past I have worked on many wind turbine and wind energy campaigns, and never really considered the effect on local birds. Its eye opening to see the effects, and this is definitely something I would share with others.
